Security

Authentication

SMART uses strong password hashing algorithms to ensure that user passwords are never stored in plaintext. No one on our staff has access to your password. Our password hashing algorithm (BCRYPT) is designed to be slow and memory-intensive, which makes it difficult to brute-force. When encrypting passwords, we use a random salt to prevent rainbow table attacks. We also encourage users to choose strong passwords and regularly update them.

Authorization

Access to sensitive areas of the SMART platform is restricted to authorized personnel only. Users are given access to only the areas of the platform that they require in order to perform their job functions.

Network Security

SMART uses industry-standard encryption protocols to secure all data transmitted over the internet. All network traffic is encrypted using HTTPS, and our servers are located in secure data centers with physical and electronic access controls in place. We use a variety of third-party services to help us provide the SMART platform. We only work with reputable providers that have a proven track record of security and reliability. We carefully vet all third-party services before integrating them into our platform.

Data Security

All user data is encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption algorithms. Additionally, we regularly perform security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address any potential security risks. We are committed to protecting your privacy and take measures to ensure that your data is only used for the purposes outlined in our Privacy Policy. We do not share your data with third parties without your consent.
